Statement of Faith
What we believe, grounded in the Word of God.
The following statement summarizes the core beliefs that guide this ministry. We hold these truths because we believe they are clearly taught in the Holy Scriptures. Scripture references are provided so that you can read and study them for yourself.
1. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and life, and it is fully sufficient to teach, correct, and equip believers for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105
2. The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—equal in power, glory, and divine nature, the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:1
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes for His people.
John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 7:25
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe, indwells every believer, and empowers the Church for holy living, service, and witness.
John 16:7–13; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23; Ephesians 1:13–14
5. Humanity and Sin
We believe God created man and woman in His own image. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and all people are by nature sinners, separated from God and unable to save themselves.
Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23
6. Salvation
We believe salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone and not by works. All who repent and believe in Him are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 10:9–10; 2 Corinthians 5:17
7. The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. Christians are called to gather regularly for worship, teaching, fellowship, the Lord’s Supper, and prayer, and to build one another up in love.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–16; Hebrews 10:24–25
8. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe the Lord Jesus gave His Church two ordinances: baptism, a public testimony of faith in Him, and the Lord’s Supper, a remembrance of His death until He comes.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
9. The Christian Life
We believe believers are called to love God with all their heart and their neighbor as themselves, to grow in holiness, and to make disciples of all nations.
Matthew 22:37–39; Romans 12:1–2; Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 28:19–20
10. The Return of Christ and Eternity
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. The redeemed will dwell with God forever in the new heavens and new earth, and the unrepentant will be separated from Him eternally.
John 14:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 21:1–4
“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
John 17:17 (ESV)
